The first person to live to 200 has already been born and my children will, with certainty, live to be more than 200.

This is not just a fanciful prediction, but a scientifically grounded conclusion. Aging, once considered a natural and inevitable process, is now regarded by many scientists as a disease, one that science will have the capability to cure. The acceleration of technology and advancements in the fields of genomics, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence are enabling us to unravel the complex mechanisms behind aging, and to develop treatments to delay, prevent, and even reverse its effects.

At the forefront of this revolution is a new discipline that views aging as a problem to be solved, and not a natural part of the human experience. By decoding the hallmarks of aging, which are the underlying biological processes that drive age-related decline, we’re unlocking the secrets of longevity. This paradigm shift in the way we view aging will not only extend the human lifespan, but it will also enhance the quality of life and delay the onset of age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular disease.

I have been a proponent of this way of thinking, and have been biohacking most of my adult life to optimize my health and well-being.

I believe with each day we’re closer to realizing the full potential of human longevity and to unlocking the keys to a longer, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

The present scientific understanding recognizes nine key hallmarks that contribute to the aging process.
